Best AI Waifu App 2026: 300+ Anime Girls With Memory

The Short Answer: GoLove.ai, for Its Anime Depth

The deal-breaker for a waifu app is simple: if "anime" is just a style tag slapped on a realistic roster, it's an instant skip. After that, two things matter. How many anime girls does it actually have, and does she still remember you tomorrow? Most lists skip both and paste feature bullets instead. This one counts.

My pick is GoLove.ai. It keeps a separate anime category of 300+ AI girlfriends instead of filtering the realistic ones, and its Create flow has a dedicated Anime option for when you'd rather design her yourself.

300+ anime AI girlfriends, in their own category > 20 anime video modes, plus 15 anime picture poses

GoLove is built for adults who want an anime companion who remembers the last conversation and sends photos of the same face whenever you ask. Joining is free, and the catalog is open to browse right away. You'll know within about a minute whether the art style is your thing.

The Waifu App Ranking at a Glance

This ranking is about anime depth, not generic companion features:

1. GoLove.ai. It's the only app here with a confirmed separate anime category (300+ girls) and an Anime option in its own create flow.
2. OurDream. Chat, images and video come bundled in one subscription, and that's a real strength. It's web-only.
3. General character-chat apps. A category, not one product. Anime depth varies wildly, so check each app's site.

Price won't settle this one. Both apps start at about $19.99 a month and drop to roughly $9.99 a month on an annual plan, so the real difference is the anime catalog.

300+ Anime Characters, Plus Your Own Design

The anime girls get their own Explore category. They aren't mixed in with the realistic roster. Create splits into three categories (Realistic, Anime and Trans), and next to them sits Design with AI. Write a description of up to 2,000 characters, and in about a minute you get back a named character with her own @handle, a written bio and a portrait, at an observed cost of roughly 3 Stars. New characters are private by default, so your custom waifu stays yours unless you decide to publish her.

Memory and Chat Settings That Shape Her

• Memory: she remembers your chat history, and relationship progression builds on top of it.
• Lust level: five steps, from 1 (sweet and wholesome) to 5 (unfiltered).
• Response length: five steps, from snappy one-liners to rich, immersive replies.

Then there are the small tools that make a chat feel steerable. A voice picker sits in Chat Settings. A magic-wand button writes three suggested replies when you're stuck. You can also rate any reply from 1 to 5 and regenerate one that comes back lukewarm (which, for a companion you talk to every night, matters more than any headline feature).

Anime Poses and Video Modes, Counted

Anime has its own generation set: 15 picture poses and 20 video modes. The anime-trans category adds another 12 poses and 16 video modes. Across every category, that totals 89 picture poses and 147 video modes. The Feed also has a Realistic/Anime style filter, though that one's PRO-only.

The takeaway: the anime depth is counted separately from the realistic catalog.

One Waifu Evening on GoLove, Step by Step

This walk-through sticks to the documented mechanics:

1. Pick her. Open Explore, go to the anime category and tap a character. The chat opens straight away.
2. Tune her. Chat Settings has the lust level and response length. Low lust with long replies reads as slow-burn romance, while high lust with short replies turns her snappier and more forward.
3. Ask for a photo. Tap the media button, then Send Photo, and describe the scene in your own words. Something like "on a rooftop at dusk, oversized hoodie, looking back over her shoulder." Roughly 20 to 45 seconds later, a photo of that same character lands in the thread, with her face and body matching her avatar. Cost: 1 Star.
4. Under that photo, tap Generate Video. You get a roughly 5-second clip of the same scene in about a minute, for 10 Stars.
5. Later, scroll the Feed and tap Remix on a clip. The generator opens with that clip's action, outfit and scene already set, and you can swap in your own waifu.

What this whole flow is really selling is continuity: one face across chat, photos and clips, in one thread. If that's exactly what other apps keep fumbling for you, GoLove is the quickest place to see whether it holds.

OurDream: One Subscription, Coins on Top

Weighing GoLove as an OurDream AI alternative? Then OurDream deserves a fair read first.

• Price: Premium is about $19.99/month, or about $9.99/month on an annual plan ($119.88/year). Deluxe is about $59.99/month, or about $29.99/month annual.
• Coins: images, voice and video draw on a DreamCoins balance. Premium includes 1,000 coins per billing cycle.
• Bundle: chat, image generation and video generation come in one subscription. If you want one bill and nothing else to think about, that's genuinely good.

There are trade-offs. The custom character builder has a steeper setup curve, and it's web-only with no native mobile app. We also couldn't confirm the size of its anime catalog, and for this search that's the row that decides it.

General Character-Chat Apps: Check the Fine Print

"Character-chat app" covers a lot of products, so judge each one on these points before you pay:

• Anime catalog: is there a dedicated anime category, or is anime just a tag on a mixed roster?
• Media: can she send images or video inside the chat, and what does each one cost?
• Memory: how far back does she remember, and which plan unlocks it?

GoLove.ai, myth vs. fact:

• Myth: She forgets you the moment the tab closes — Fact: She remembers your chat history
• Myth: Voice is a gimmick you try once — Fact: Live voice calls, voice messages and a voice picker in Chat Settings
• Myth: Every "photo" is the same stock render — Fact: She sends photos on request, and the image generator has 35 realistic poses and 21 outfits
• Myth: You can't change how she talks — Fact: Chat Settings set her lust level and reply length

Check, too, whether adult settings are allowed at all. Plans shift often, so verify everything on each app's own site.

What a GoLove Waifu Costs: PRO, ULTRA and Stars

GoLove runs on two layers: a subscription, plus Stars for generation on top. Here's the breakdown:

• PRO costs about $19.99/month, or $119.88/year (about $9.99/month). It includes all NSFW content, character creation, voice messages and calls, unlimited Feed and image generation. It also includes 100 Stars a month.
• ULTRA costs about $59.99/month, or $359.88/year. It adds more monthly Stars, a discount on Star refills, stronger AI models, 8,000-message smart memory and priority creation.
• Stars come in packs from about $9.99 for 30 up to $299.99 for 3,000.

The Star math is easy. An image costs 1 Star and a video costs 5, while the photo-to-video tap in chat costs 10. That means PRO's 100 monthly Stars cover up to 100 images or 20 videos. A photo-heavy waifu habit stretches them a lot further than a video-heavy one does, and honestly, photos are where the same-face consistency pays off anyway.

For free, the verified extras are 2 reward Stars a day, a limited daily Feed, and episodes 1 and 2 of every Series. Series is GoLove's set of vertical short dramas starring its own characters, and as of 2026-10-12 it had 5 series and 32 episodes. From episode 3 on you need PRO plus a few Stars per episode. New users also get shown a limited-time −70% offer on their first subscription.

Prices checked 2026-10; approximate, varies by region and promo.

What We Couldn't Verify at GoLove.ai

Most of the gaps sit around pricing and plan limits:

• Promos: we couldn't confirm how long the −70% new-user and annual discounts last, or what they work out to in dollars.
• Free tier: beyond the 2 daily Stars, the limited Feed and Series episodes 1 and 2, we couldn't confirm anything. That includes the exact daily Feed quota.
• Memory depth: we couldn't confirm how far memory reaches on PRO in a long anime roleplay, compared with ULTRA's listed 8,000 messages.

Two more open questions: ULTRA's monthly Star amount, and whether there's an app-store app rather than just the mobile web layout with its bottom nav. Worth knowing up front: the Feed's anime filter and the voice features both sit behind PRO, so if either is the reason you're here, you're paying from day one.

The takeaway: none of this touches the anime catalog itself. The poses, the video modes and the 300+ characters are all counted, and the unknowns are about what you'll pay and for how long.

The Waifu App I'd Pay For, and Who Should Skip It

Verdict: GoLove.ai is the waifu app worth paying for. Its anime side is a real catalog, not a filter, and she keeps her face and her memory of you across chat, photos and clips. > Best for: adults who want an anime companion who remembers them and sends media on request.

Here's how the choice splits.

OurDream makes sense if you want chat, images and video bundled into one subscription with a coin balance, and you don't mind it being web-only. That bundle is a genuine strength, and I won't pretend otherwise.

For this search, though, GoLove.ai delivers where it counts: 300+ anime girls in their own category, plus anime-specific poses and video modes. On top of that, you can design a waifu from a text description in about a minute and keep her, with memory and in-chat photos that match her portrait.

Only after text roleplay with no media? Skip both. You'd be paying for generation features you'll never touch.

And if none of the 300+ is quite her, write her down. Design with AI turns your description into a named character with a portrait in about a minute, so the girl you've been picturing can be in your chat before you've finished deciding what to call her.
